FAQ

We appreciate that planning your Wedding can be a stressful time for you. To help you with booking a Wedding Videographer, we have provided a few of the Frequently Asked Questions we often receive.

What type of Wedding Videos do you offer?

Our choice of style is Cinematic but with a Documentary final video in mind. Some Videographers only offer a short Highlights Video for the same price. We at Video4aDay feel that many couples want a longer video as a lasting memento of their big day. However as the current trend is shifting to shorter edited videos, we do include a 4 minute Highlights video free with every package’

This gives you the best of both worlds, allowing you to watch a video that covers everything, but also gives you a video you can share with family and friends.

How long have you been filming Weddings?

We filmed our first Wedding in 2005, but established our Business in 2010 and have filmed over 300 Weddings since at a wide variety of locations and venues across the south of England and beyond.

How many Videographers and Cameras are used to film our Wedding?

All packages include filming by 1 cameraman with 4 cameras used to capture your day. Unmanned cameras will be set up for the Ceremony, Speeches and 1st Dance.

For an extra £300, an additional cameraman can be provided to capture the Groom Preps alongside the Bridal Preps and to provide additional manned coverage for the rest of the day.

Do you film in HD?

We film in 4K, which is 4 times greater the resolution of HD and provides stunning HD picture quality and even better if viewed in the native 4k format. 4K is the resolution of the future, so your videos are future proofed by being recorded this way.

What areas do you cover?

We cover most of the South of England, but are prepared to travel all over the UK and even abroad for the right Wedding. Feel free to ask us if your Wedding Wholesale Jerseys Reviews | About wholesale cheap jerseys online falls further afield.

Can we meet up to discuss our requirements with you?

Yes we are happy to meet up to go through your personal requirements for your Wedding Video. However we do ask that if you are based more than an hour away from our home location of Romsey, Hampshire; that we find a mutually convenient meeting point midway.

What deposit is needed?

A £50 deposit is needed on booking.

When is final payment due?

Final payment is due a week before the Wedding. You can pay in instalments should you wish.

How quickly do we get our Videos?

The Ceremony is released approx 2 weeks after the Wedding.
Remaining Videos will be sent over a period of 8 to 12 weeks for the first draft.

Can we use our own choice of songs?

Yes, we ask for 4-7 songs from you, which are used in the final edited video and Highlights Video. However if you’re stuck for choices, we can provide ideas or use music from our library.

Do you offer a Marryoke on its own?

Yes. The cost is £450 for Friday to Sunday from April to September, and £200 plus travel costs Monday to Thursday and all week in October to March.

Can we have a copy of all the footage?

Yes for a £50 footage release fee, we can provide all RAW files. As the total file size will be 300-400gbs, we ask that you provide a HDD (minimum 500gbs) for us to copy the files over and return to you.  However such material is for editing only.

A better approach is for you to receive a copy of the 1st cut, which is all usable footage before final editing takes place.  This is a video that will be colour corrected and is longer than the finished video, which will have been cut to music.

Do you keep backups of our Videos?

RAW files are deleted 1 month after you have received all your remaining copies. However a copy of your videos at maximum resolution plus the DVD file is kept indefinitely in case further copies are needed.
